This is what Saturday mornings look like for me. I sit from this very spot and meditate and reflect. It’s my time of the week to be still because like most of us, being still doesn’t happen naturally. I have to plan for it.
I protect my Saturday mornings. It’s my time with Jesus. It’s my time to spiritually “wash off” the world and “put on” the mind of Christ. It’s my time to “be still” and know that He is God.
In the quiet, I sense His presence and I hear His voice. In the quiet, I am reminded of who I am in Christ. In the quiet, I am energized to continue the spiritual battle that is life. In the quiet, I am at peace.
So, I hope you will find your “quiet” this week. I need it like I need air. I need the One who meets me there and He is always waiting for me.
Much love,
Sylvia
